Every purchase we make leaves a mark on this world.  We tell the world what is important to us by how we spend our money.  When we choose to buy items that are made cheaply in a sweatshop, we tell the world that our financial comfort is more important to us than the welfare of those who made our items, or the planet we live on.  I’m choosing instead to value the people behind my purchases, and the earth that we call home.  It’s a challenge with a young family and a limited non-profit income, but it’s worth it.  This is my journey of choosing what’s best for my family, the earth, and the people I share it with.
